The best beach access point to go to is called Blue Mountain Regional. Blue Mountain Regional Access has parking, restrooms, and lifeguards during peak season. From Hwy 98 and Hwy 331 head west 1.5 miles then south on Scenic Highway 83 until you cross over Scenic 30A and reach the gulf. Blue Mountain Regional Access is between Grayton Beach to the east and Santa Rosa Beach to the west. Blue Mountain Regional Access is in the heart of Blue Mountain Beach. There are quite a few shops and restaurants within walking distance. At this public beach, there are bathrooms, showers and during the season, lifeguards are present. Golf Carts: The community allows golf carts, and there are designated golf cart parking spaces behind the pool, which include charging stations. Please note that golf carts cannot park in regular car parking spots. Golf cart passes are $50 for a week or less.
