Located on a high floor, the unit features a king bedroom, two full bathrooms, hallway bunk beds, and a queen sleeper sofa. Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests may be asked to present their government issued IDs upon arrival or anytime during their stay. Do not rent this unit for another party. The primary renter must be staying in the unit.

About the Vacation Rental Unit:

This one-bedroom, two-bathroom gulf-front vacation rental has been thoughtfully updated with new paint, lighting, appliances, and furnishings, offering a refreshed and comfortable coastal experience. Positioned on a high floor, the condo faces the Gulf directly, providing unobstructed water views from both the main living space and the expansive balcony. The open living area is designed to maximize the view, with large windows and direct balcony access that allow natural light to fill the space. The primary bedroom features a king bed and a private ensuite bathroom, creating a quiet and comfortable retreat. Additional sleeping accommodations include built-in hallway bunk beds and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area, making the layout suitable for families or small groups.

The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances and ample counter space for preparing meals during your stay. Adjacent dining options include a table with chairs as well as bar seating, offering flexibility for casual meals or family gatherings. Tile flooring runs throughout the unit, providing durability and easy maintenance after time spent at the beach. An in-unit washer and dryer adds convenience for longer stays, while the thoughtful layout ensures both comfort and functionality. With its direct gulf exposure, updated interior, and practical amenities, this condo delivers a well-balanced beachfront stay.

One of the defining features of this condo is the oversized balcony overlooking the Gulf. Furnished with patio counter seating, it offers an elevated vantage point for enjoying sunrise views, coastal breezes, and the sound of the waves below. The balcony connects directly to the living area, extending the usable space and reinforcing the indoor-outdoor feel of the unit. Inside, the living room is arranged for relaxation, featuring comfortable seating and a large HD television with cable programming. The kitchen is stocked for everyday cooking needs and supports both quick meals and longer stays. Dining seating is split between a table and bar stools, allowing the space to adapt to different group sizes. Tile flooring throughout the unit enhances durability while maintaining a clean, coastal aesthetic. The inclusion of a washer and dryer inside the condo makes it easy to manage beach towels and clothing during your stay. These finishing touches combine convenience with thoughtful design, creating a space that supports both short visits and extended beach getaways.

Parking:
All guests must pre-register with the resort! Sooner is better since there are additional fees (and long lines) associated with registering late. Preregistering means wristbands are programmed, and parking passes are created ahead of your arrival. Guests must stop by the Tidewater registration desk upon arrival to pick up wristbands and parking pass. You’ll find this registration desk just inside the walkway doors, on the second floor. 

Parking: The parking garage is located across the street from Tidewater Resort. Since it changes periodically, the parking garage gate code will be sent in your Safe Travels email. Guests may purchase two parking permits for a 1- or 2-bedroom unit and 3 parking permits for a 3-bedroom unit. Cost for such passes is listed below.

Parking spaces in the garage aren't assigned, so legally park where you are able to. Locate the skybridge on level 2; this will take you across the street to the main complex. After crossing the skybridge, go to the Tidewater registration desk, located right inside the doors from the crosswalk. This is where you will pick up your parking passes as well as your amenity wristbands. Return to your car(s) and place the permit(s) as directed.

Parking restrictions: No vehicle exceeding 7 feet, 2 inches in height is allowed in the garage. For the safety of all, pickups with extended beds or cabs, dual wheels, tow bars, and extended rear luggage carriers are only permitted to park in the north side, rear end of the garage. Roof luggage carriers must be removed before entering the garage. Rental golf carts, scooters, and bubble cars are not authorized to park in the garage or porte-cochere. Those in violation of these rules are subject to tow at the owner’s/renter’s expense.

Helpful Tip About Elevators at Tidewater: Like all high-rise buildings, Tidewater can experience longer elevator wait times during peak hours—especially around check-in (4-5pm) and check-out (4-5pm). This is largely due to the use of luggage and grocery-style carts, which take up significant space and limit the number of passengers per ride. Many guests find it helpful to avoid using the elevators during these busy times when possible. A little planning can make arrival and departure much smoother!

Loading and Cart Info
•    There are 30-minute loading/unloading spaces available on the second floor of the parking garage near the skywalk. Feel free to use one while moving your belongings in or out of the condo.
•    Luggage carts and grocery-style carts are available to help carry items. Note that luggage carts do not fit inside the condos, but you can leave them just outside your door while unloading.
•    Please return carts promptly after use so they’re available for other guests.
 
Amenity Wristbands: Guests registering at Tidewater must be over 25 years old and registration should occur at least 24 hours in advance of arrival (ideally, more than 24 hours prior). Amenity wristbands are allocated to guests at the Tidewater registration desk, located on the 2nd floor of the resort. Wristbands will be given to guests ages 12 and up at check-in. Guests are required to wear these wristbands while on the property. Fees for these wristbands vary, depending upon when you register. This fee includes the aforementioned parking permits.

Wristband Return Reminder: At check-out, please return all wristbands to the same reservation desk where you picked them up. You’ll find the return box at the reservation desk on the 2nd floor of the resort. Thanks for helping us keep things running smoothly!
 
PREREGISTRATION FEES (pre-registration must occur more than 24 hours in advance of arrival): about $40 + tax for a 1-bedroom unit, about $55 + tax for a 2-bedroom unit and about $70 + tax for a 3-bedroom unit.  
LATE REGISTRATION FEES: about $50 + tax for a 1-bedroom unit, about $65 + tax for a 2-bedroom unit and about $80 + tax for a 3-bedroom unit. 
 
For the security of our guests and the safety of the resort, there are external security cameras located in the garage.

Welcome to Tidewater, a complex offering its guests breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico! This resort is conveniently located just fifteen minutes from ECP airport. Moreover, guests are within walking distance of Pier Park, which boasts more than 100 retail shops and numerous dining options. Get ready for the new Dolly Parton's Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show theater, opening in summer 2025!
 
Tidewater Resort offers top-of-the-line onsite amenities. Two outdoor pools (not heated) with gulf views; one indoor pool (heated); two spa whirlpools; fitness center; steam room and sauna. Tidewater is a five-minute walk from Gulf World and Frank Brown Park, which is a perfect spot for those who wish to revel in this 200-acre outdoor recreational facility. 

Other details to note: 

For the safety and security of our guests and property, please note that there is a doorbell camera located at the entry door. This camera is focused solely on the entry area to monitor arrivals and ensure the security of the property. Please be assured that your privacy is important to us, and the camera does not monitor any other areas of the accommodation.

The owners of this unit provide portable beach chairs and an umbrella in the unit for guest use. If you prefer the onsite beach service setup, those rentals are available through a third-party vendor and are not included.

Please keep the balcony door closed tightly. Avoid opening it simultaneously with the main door, as it creates a strong suction that could cause injury.

Tips for Entering the Unit: 
•    Enter the unit code. Once the Schlage button turns green, wait 1-2 seconds, then rotate the lever UP and then down to enter.
•    If an incorrect code is entered, wait 30 seconds before trying again.
•    If the door is not locked, ensure the inside thumb turn knob is in the horizontal position.
•    If you encounter any issues with the lock, contact Tidewater security officer.

Tips for if the AC appears to not work:
•    Ensure thermostat switches are set to AUTO and COOL positions.
•    Check if the circuit breaker tripped. The electrical box is at the entrance next to the bunkbed. Turn off the main AC switch on the wall for 1 minute, then flip it back on.
•    Avoid setting the temperature below 68 degrees, as this may cause AC coils to freeze and halt the unit. Allow the system time to cool the unit effectively.
•    Keep Balcony doors closed while the unit is running. Excessive salt in the air can lead to corrosion.

Proper ID wristbands are required to be worn at all times while on Tidewater Resort property. The replacement fee for each lost or stolen wristband is $25 plus tax.

All guests must use the Walkover, as instructed by the Project Manager, for the Front Beach Road project.

Trash chutes cannot be stuffed with cardboard boxes or other forms of large debris. Prior to disposal in the chutes, please bag any trash. All large items in need of disposal must be taken off site. Violators who are caught dumping trash inappropriately may be fined by the association and/or reported to local law enforcement.

Upon booking, you’ll receive timely communications about your trip. Access to your professionally cleaned and sanitized home is also convenient with our custom keyless locks. And, if you need anything before, during or after your stay, our local team is ready to help!

Please be aware that there will be NO refunds for Wi-Fi issues as it’s not guaranteed. If reliable Wi-Fi is a must, you are welcome to bring your own internet hotspot.

Non-negotiable rules: No Smoking or Vaping, No Events or Parties, No Firearms. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am (unless posted signage indicates otherwise).
