Primary renter must be at least 21 years of age. Guests may be asked to present their government issued IDs upon arrival or anytime during their stay. Do not rent this unit for another party. The primary renter must be staying in the unit.

Make yourself at home in a private apartment tucked within one of Murfreesboro’s historic residences. With a queen bedroom, full bathroom, and living room with a sofa bed, the apartment comfortably accommodates up to four guests and provides an easy home base for exploring Murfreesboro.

The larger property dates to 1847 and was once owned by Major John Childress, brother of First Lady Sarah Childress Polk, wife of President James K. Polk. Sarah Polk was known to visit the home. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the property carries nearly 180 years of local history. Portions of the home were converted into apartments during the 1930s, continuing a residential story that guests can experience today.
